I began studying Pilates with Karen Horvath about four years ago.  After my very first session I became hooked on both the method and the teacher! After decades of high and low impact aerobics classes and weight training sessions, I had developed aching knees, painful shoulders,  and a troubled back.  I was losing flexibility and core strength due to the limitations resulting from these injuries.  Thanks to twice weekly private sessions with Karen,  I feel that I have been rehabilitated.  Well trained in and mindful of the Pilates principles of movement, she offers perfectly tailored sessions, taking into consideration the specific needs, strengths and limitations one brings to each class.  Joseph Pilates would have been thrilled to see his method interpreted with such clarity, dedication and enthusiasm.  It is thanks to superb teachers like Karen that his method continues to thrive. -RB, Washington, CT
